God's Love for You Is unconditional

Do you believe that God loves you today? No matter how many mistakes you've made in your life, I'm here to tell you beyond the shadow of a doubt that God loves you. He loves you with an everlasting love. Right now, regardless of the challenges you may be going through, I want to encourage you to see yourself walking under an open heaven, surrounded by His unmerited favor. Expect good things in your future. Believe in His love for you. Believe with all your heart that you are the apple of His eye and the delight of His heart. Believe that you are highly favored, greatly blessed, and deeply loved!

God's love for you is unconditional. It's a love that is so pure, pristine, and marvelous. It has nothing to do with your performance, but everything to do with who you are in God's eyes - His beloved. The emphasis of the old covenant of the law was all about your love for God, whereas the emphasis of the new covenant of grace is all abut God's love for you. The sum total of the law under the old covenant is, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength" (Deut. 6:5, see also Matt. 22:37,40).

Let's be honest here. Have you ever met anyone who can love God this way? Of course not. Even David, whom the Bible describes as a man after God's own heart, didn't love God with all his heart, all his soul, all his mind, and all his strength. It's a human impossibility. The law was designed to show us that we are incapable of loving God perfectly.

Knowing that man wouldn't be able to fulfill His commandment to love Him with all his heart, all his soul, all his mind, and all his strength, do you know what God did? He demonstrated how only He could love us with all His heart, all His soul, all His mind, and all His strength when He sent His beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us from all our sins with his own blood. That is why the new covenant is all about God's love for you and not your love for Him! Under grace, God doesn't want you to focus your thoughts on, "Do I really love God?" That's not the focus of the new covenant. Under grace, God wants you to focus on His love for you. Therefore, the questions you should be asking yourself are:

"Do I know how much God loves me today?"
"Do I really believe that God loves me right now?"

You need to remind yourself of God's love especially when you have just failed. Do you believe that He loves you when you have just made a mistake? This is where the rubber meets the road. After you have failed, that is when what you really believe about God's love  for you is tested. Do you really believe that His love for you is truly and indeed unconditional? Or has the unconditional love of God become merely a platitude that is no longer something real to you? I see this happen all the time. I hear people say, "God's love is unconditional!" But the moment they fail, all of a sudden the love they once said was unconditional becomes contingent upon their behavior.

Many believe that God loves them when they do right, but stops loving them the moment they do something wrong. I'm going to shatter that wrong belief into smithereens with the truth of God's Word!

While our love for God can fluctuate, His love for us always remains constant. His love for us is based on who He is and not based on what we do. I love just how confident and emphatic the apostle Paul is when he says, "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Rom. 8:38-39). In the New International Version, it says, "For I am convinced..."

Are you persuaded and convinced the way the apostle Paul is that as a child of God, nothing, not even your sins, failings, and mistakes, can ever separate you from the love of God? Don't go by what you feel, think, or have been taught. God's Word proclaims in no uncertain terms that nothing can separate you from His love. Nothing means nothing! His love for you is not contingent on your immaculate performance. He loves you even in your failings. That's why it is called grace! It is the undeserved, unmerited, and unearned favor of
God. If you can deserve God's grace, then it is no longer grace.

What You Believe Matters

"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things."  Matthew 12:35

What I believe matters. When I believe right, I will live right.

Father, because what I believe is so important, help me to renew my mind with right beliefs based on eternal truths from Your holy Word. I believe that my heart and mind are important to You. Open my eyes to see Your grace and Your love for me. Fill my mind with the good thoughts You have toward me today. I trust the Holy Spirit to lead me to right living and victory as I anchor my thoughts and beliefs on Your grace and Your Word. Amen.

Getting Control

"... and as you have believed, so let it be done for you."  Matthew  8:13

Right believing produces right living. When I begin to believe right, my thoughts, actions, and behavior will start to become right and bear good fruit in my life.

Father, thank You for the truth of Your Word that shows me and liberates me into every blessing Your Son, Jesus, has already purchased for me. As I choose to meditate on Your love and grace toward me, let Your Word bring healing to my soul and hope to my heart. Let me see by Your Spirit how much You love me, how You are always for me and how You desire to protect, deliver, and bless me. I believe and declare that my days ahead will be days filled with good because You love me. Amen.

Prison Break

Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their chains in pieces.  Psalm 107:13-14

God does not want me to live imprisoned by hears, guilt, and addictions, but with joy, peace, and confidence in what He has done for me.

Father, I thank You that you are breaking the chains of all wrong believing that have kept me bound and freeing me more and more to live an abundant life. I declare that as I learn more of Your grace and good plans for my life, You are transforming me from the inside out. I believe that as You begin to replace my wrong beliefs with right beliefs from Your Word, my life cannot but change for the better! Amen.

Under the Care of the Good Shepherd

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pasture; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.  Psalm 23:1-4

I can live life confident and at peace because Jesus, my strong and able Shepherd, is watching over me.

Lord Jesus, thank You for being my good Shepherd and watching over me. Thank You for defending and protecting me when I'm helpless, and providing for me when I'm in lack. Thank You for leading me with Your Word and wisdom whenever I'm in doubt and don't know what to do. With You as my Shepherd, I don't have to live life worried about my needs or my future. I believe You will cause me to walk in green pastures of provision and rest and to always see Your goodness. Amen.

The Secret To Great Faith 8

Faith is not trying to make something that is not already there happen. Faith is bringing out of the spirit realm what is already there, what is already true of you. Not to confess something that you are not. Whether you confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ or not, you are still the righteousness of God in Christ. But when you confess it, you become conscious of it. You sense it, and it becomes powerful and real in your life.

You do not confess that you are righteous in order to become righteous. You confess that you are righteous because you are already righteous! Similarly, you confess that you are rich not to become rich. You confess that you are rich because you are already rich through Jesus. At the cross, He became poor so that you through His poverty might become rich! You confess this to be conscious that through Jesus, you are already rich. That's not having faith in faith. It is faith in His goodness, in His grace.

The Secret To Great Faith 7

Everything that you receive from God, you receive by faith in His grace. We walk by faith. We fight the good fight of faith. We are saved by faith, healed by faith and made righteous by faith! The Christian life is a life of faith in His grace. The more of His grace you receive, the more faith springs forth. Our problem in the past was that we put our faith in our own faith, and it didn't work. We should put our faith in God's grace and love, for the Bible says that faith works by love. This is not in reference to our own love, but to His love for us.

The Secret To Great Faith 6

Do you know that there is a verse in Galatians that says that "the law is not of faith"? In Romans, it also says, "For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect". So clearly, there is no way that we can give people the law and yet expect them to have faith. The law will disqualify them from receiving any blessing from the Lord. It is only faith in His grace that will qualify God's people and cause them to have great faith to receive what they need from the Lord.

When you come under grace and are delivered from the works of the law, faith will no longer be a struggle or barrier because you will walk with unconscious faith. You will not be wondering, "Do I have enough faith?" all the time, but you will see Jesus in His grace, and faith will just spring forth from the inside. It is that simple.

The Secret To Great Faith 5

There were only two people in the Bible whom Jesus said had "great faith"? The first was the Roman centurion, and the other was the Syro-Phoenician woman. What is the common denominator between these two people to have the secret of great faith?

Both of them were Gentiles. They were not Jews. One was a Roman and the other a Canaanite. Both of them were not under the law of Moses and therefore they did not disqualify themselves. They were no under condemnation and so they could have great faith to received from Jesus. The law is indeed the opposite of faith!

The Secret To Great Faith 4

You do not have to try to conjure up faith for healing or finances. Faith for any breakthrough or miracle in your life springs forth when you see His grace. He died so that you might life! You did not deserve it, but he still did it for you. See Jesus on the cross for you. That is the demonstration of His grace. And when you see His grace, your faith becomes unconscious and miracles will break forth!

The Secret To Great Faith 3

You do not have to wish that you had more faith for whatever miracle you are asking God for right now. See Jesus on the cross for you, and the faith you need to face any situation or challenge will come into your life. Just look to Jesus! He is the author and finisher of faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of Christ. The more of Jesus you hear, the more faith rises in your heart. Get hold of teachings that preach all about Jesus and His finished work. There is no power in human philosophy or the traditions of man, but there is power in the gospel of Jesus Christ!

No man can deserve God's blessings by his self-efforts. It is not about our sacrifices. It is about His sacrifice! All God sees is the work of His Son, and by virtue of Jesus, all His blessings and His miracle-working power are already yours when you believe in His Son. Listen carefully to what Paul said to the Galatians who were depending on their self-efforts:

Galatians 3:5
... He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Look at all the people who received miracles from Jesus during His ministry on earth. Not a single one of them deserved it. They did nothing to earn their miracles. They simply received their miracles because of His grace. On the other hand, we don't find any record of those who were trying to deserve blessings from God  - the Pharisees - receiving anything from Jesus!

The Secret To Great Faith 2

When believers know that they have been made righteous by the blood of Jesus. They begin to understand that they have the blood-bought right to be healed, to experience financial breakthroughs and to enjoy restoration in their marriages and every areas in their life.

Faith no longer becomes a barrier to receiving God's promises. People stop thinking that they are unable to receive breakthroughs because they do not have enough faith. No way! When believers catch the revelation that there is nothing wrong with God, nothing wrong with His Word and by His grace, nothing wrong with them, something happens to their faith. The begin to see more of Jesus. They begin to become more and more conscious of Jesus having been crucified on their behalf. And the more they see what Jesus has done for them, the more they see what Jesus has qualified them for , the more faith springs up within them and miracles break forth.

The Secret To Great Faith 1

Have you ever felt like you needed more faith? have ever looked at yourself and told yourself that if you just had more faith, you would see your financial breakthrough or healing?

Good news for you today: Faith is no a struggle. The hearing of faith and the words of the law are total opposites. And since the law is about our self-efforts, there is no self-effort in faith.

There are people who have turned faith into a work. Have you heard people saying,"Oh, this thing happened to you because you don't have enough faith" or "Oh, you have to have great faith to see that breakthrough"? How do you feel when you hear things like that? Felt condemned for not having more faith?

Faith is the opposite of the law, and that the more people become self-conscious, and the more they look at their self-efforts to receive from the Lord, the more faith is depleted from them.

Your Reality

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.  1 John 4:17

When you look at yourself (your weaknesses) and your negative circumstances, it's easy to become seized with anxiety, fear and despair.

That's why God wants us to look away from ourselves and look at Jesus. In God's eyes, because He has placed us in Christ, Jesus' reality is our reality today - "as He is, so are we in this world"!

So don't focus on your vulnerability or the lack in your life and get discouraged. Ask yourself: is Jesus abandoned, forgotten, sick and poor today? No, He is at the right hand of the Father, full of life, peace, joy and favor. All of heaven's resources are at His disposal. He is greatly blessed, highly favored and deeply loved by the Father today, and so are you!

To be Jesus-occupied like this is to see as God sees. And when you see as God sees, you will also see the grace and supply of the Lord swallow up every lack in your life!

The Head And Not the Tail

...And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail...  Deuteronomy 8:13

You are called by the Lord to be a success, to enjoy wealth, to enjoy health and to enjoy a life of victory.

It is not the Lord's desire that you live a life of defeat, poverty and failure.

He has called you to be the head and not the tail.

If you are a businessman, God wants you to have a prosperous business. If you are a homemaker, you are anointed to bring up wonderful children in the Lord. If you are a student, God wants you to excel in all your examinations. And if you are trusting the Lord for a new career, He doesn't just want you to have a job, He wants you to have a position of influence, so that you can be a blessing and an asset to your organization!

Your Heavenly Father Cares About You

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
1 Peter 5:7 NLT

Do Not Worry. Three simple words, mentioned three times by our Lord Jesus as He taught on not worrying about the necessities of life. Jesus really doesn't want us to worry about our needs!

It's because the Lord Himself assures you that "your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things," and He wants to provide them!

So if you are facing a pressing need today, or seeing lack in a certain area, take heart. Don't be discouraged. Your heavenly Father knows all about it and He is more than willing to meet that need because He loves you.

You have a good Father who cares deeply about you and wants to provide for your every need. So don't worry. Cast every care to Him now and be at rest, knowing that He will abundantly provide!

2014/04/14

Do not Worry

Therefore do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat?" or "What shall we drink?" or " What shall we wear?" For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
Matthew 6:31-32

Our God is a practical God, who is interested in providing for your practical daily needs.
Take a look at Jesus throughout the four Gospel accounts.
To Those who were hungry, He provided food by multiplying the loaves and fish.
To the fishermen who toiled all night and caught nothing, He gave them more than a boatload of fish.
Jesus didn't stop there - whoever encountered Him received from Him what they lacked.
He healed the brokenhearted and gave sight to the blind.
The sick who came to Him were all healed.
Even the dead received His resurrection life!

Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever!
He is still providing.
So whatever you need today, whether it is wisdom, favor, healing or divine strength, go to Him.
He is a practical God.

A Good Father

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:24

How do we know that God is a good God and a good Father?

Jesus dealt with this question simply by asking another question: "If earthly fathers, imperfect as they are, know how to give good gifts to their children, don't you think that your loving Father who is in heaven will be even better?"

If your child asks you for bread, would you give him a stone? Certainly not. You would give him the best bread you can find. How much more then will your heavenly Father give good things to you when you ask Him!

Know in your heart that God is a good Father to you. So if you need something today, just ask Him for it. And as you ask Him, believe that you have received it from Him, and you will have it!

Have Everything

But of Him you are in Chris Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God - and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. 1 Corinthians 1:30

When you love someone deeply, you would want to give that person your every best. To show your love to that person, you would give him or her what you value the most.

That's exactly what God did when He gave you Jesus. Jesus is the apple of God's eye, heaven's darling Son. Yet, God gave Him up for you because that's how much He loves you. God wants you to have His very best!

Jesus is God's best for us because when we have Jesus, we have Everything! Jesus is our wisdom, our righteousness, our sanctification, our redemption, our success. In Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge!

you are truly rich because you have Christ. And in Christ you are Complete. Don't wait to have this or that before you feel complete. You are already complete in Christ - your all in all!

Your All In All

... Chris, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2-3

When God gave us Jesus, He gave us everything. We are truly rich because we have Chris, our all in all. When you need wisdom, Chris is your wisdom. When you need righteousness, Christ is your righteousness. When you need sanctification and redemption, Christ is both to you. When you need faith, He is your faith.

The Great I am

... you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.  Colossians 2:10

When you are fearful of the odds against you, Jesus is your favor.
When you are weak, Jesus is your strength.
When you are troubled and anxious, Jesus is your peace.
When you feel vulnerable, Jesus is your shield.
When you are lonely, Jesus is your faithful companion.
And when you are sick, Jesus is your healing and health.

Jesus is the great I AM and He says to you, "I AM to you whatever you need Me to Be!"

God So Loved You

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?  Romans 8:32

God is a good God. He is a God of love. But we will never know how much God loves us until we know how much He loves Jesus, because He gave us Jesus, His beloved Son.

Do you remember the story of Abraham in Genesis 22? Abraham's heart must have been broken when he led his one and only promised son, Isaac, up Mount Moriah to be sacrificed.

What about God's heart when He led His Son, Jesus, on the Calvary for you?

God so loved His Son, but He so loved you too, that He was willing to give up His Son for you. That's how much He loves you! And if God was willing to give you heaven's best - Jesus - do you think that He will withhold anything good from you?

God's Love

... the Lord your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you.
Deuteronomy 23:5

When you change the way you see yourself and God, you will see changes in your negative circumstances.

Believe that you are greatly, immeasurably loved by your Father in heaven, and you can't help but see His goodness in your life!

Reign In Life

... much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Chris.   Romans 5:17

The power to reign does not depend on your family background, your educational qualifications, how you look or how much savings you have in your bank account. The power to reign is based entirely on Jesus and Him alone.

You are destined to reign in life. Whatever your vocation is, you are destined to reign in life because Jesus is Lord of your life. When you reign in life, you reign over sin, you reign over the powers of darkness, and you reign over depression, over poverty, over every curse, and over every sickness and disease. You reign over the devil and all his devices!

Receiving Grace

...much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Chris.   Romans 5:17

The Bible states very clearly that we are to reign in life through Jesus Christ just by receiving two things from Him: The abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness.

God's ways are contrary to man's ways. Man thinks that for God to bless him, he needs to deserve, earn and merit God's favor and blessings by his own efforts. Man thinks that God's blessings are based on his performance and good works.

However, this is not God's way. His way is not about achieving, but about receiving. He promised that when we receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, we will reign in life. He did not say that when we achieve grace and our own righteousness, we will reign in life. But for some reason, many Christians continue to live based on a system of achievement!

Grace

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Chris... and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.     Ephesians 2:4-6

What believers do is that they take the system of the world and apply it to their Christian life. Instead of depending on God's grace for His favor and blessings to flow, they depend on their self-efforts to try to deserve God's favor and blessings. Yet, God's way is not for us to be blessed by our own efforts. You cannot earn God's blessings by your performance. God's blessings are based entirely on His grace. His blessings over your life have to be undeserved, unearned and unmerited. In other words, there is nothing that you can do to deserve His blessings, for they are based entirely on receiving Jesus, and through His finished work, the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness.

God wants us to stop trying to achieve, and to begin receiving the favor, blessings and healing that Jesus accomplished on the cross.

It is Finished

When Jesus hung on the cross some 2,000 years ago, He cried out with a loud voice, "It is finished!" Everything that you and I require to reign in life was accomplished at Calvary on our behalf. That's why we call what Jesus did on the cross His "finished work"! He finished it. He completed it. It is Done! The only thing that works is the finished work! Stop doing what's already Done! Stop doing and start receiving what Jesus has Done!

We have been taught to focus on achieving, on doing and on relying on our self-efforts. We are driven to "do, do, do", forgetting that Christianity is actually "done, done, done". The world tells you that the more you do, the harder you work, and the more hours you put in, the more success you will achieve. The world's way is to nag you to work harder, to forget about attending church on Sundays, to spend less time with your wife and kids, and to spend more time in the office working through the nights, weekends and holidays.

Awake To Righteousness

Awake to righteousness and sin not!
It is the grace of God that gives us true victory!
That is the power of the gospel. It is the power of God unto your wholeness! You can rely on your self-efforts and willpower all you want, but they can only bring you so far.
Put your dependence completely on His grace. It is the only power that can set you free from all bondages!

You Have Been Forgiven

When people hear the good news that all their sins have been forgiven because of the cross of Jesus, something supernatural happens.

This is what happened in the book of Acts.

When Apostle Paul preached on forgiveness, healing miracles occurred as the people listened. The man who was lame from his mother's womb leapt up and walked for the first time in his life.

People in the church are looking for great power, but where is it found? The book of Acts declares that where there is great grace, there is great power!

Be Made Whole

Observe the way the Holy Spirit has ordered His benefits: Forgiveness of your iniquities comes before the healing of your diseases. In other words, once you know that you have been forgiven of all your sins, past, present and future, the healing of all your diseases follows.

Psalm  103:1-5
Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Forgiveness

When you believe that you are forgiven and righteous, you will be made whole!

There are many believers who are suffering from sicknesses and diseases because of guilt. Whether or not there is any real basis for their guilt and condemnation, the guilt and condemnation are still destructive. That is why the gospel is so powerful. It is the good news of God's grace and forgiveness that frees the believer from every sense of feeling dirty or condemned, and gives him the power to break free from the vicious circle of condemnation and sin.

Promise

For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.   Romans  4:13

In Romans 4:13, it is clear that God's promise that Abraham and his seed would be heirs of the world was not through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

Today, because we belong to Jesus, we are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise. And the more we believe that we are righteous in Christ, the more we will experience His provision. Being an heir of the world and walking in Abraham's blessings of health, protection and abundant provision come by faith. This is believing that even though we don't deserve any blessing from God, we have been made righteous by the sacrifice and finished work of His Son and qualify for all His blessings!

On the cross, Jesus took our sins and gave us His righteousness. He took our poverty and gave us His abundance. He took our shame and gave us His victory. Today, believe that you have been made righteous by Jesus' finished work and start walking in the blessings of Abraham!

Jesus' Grace

The fruit if the righteous is a tree of life...  Proverbs 11:30

A precious young lady shared:
This time, I didn't go to God with my good works and my obedience to try to earn this blessing. All I did was believe and confess how, through the finished work of Christ at the cross, I have the undeserved favor of God and His own righteousness. And even though i had failed the test and an interview, because of His favor, I still gained admission to a reputable university in Germany on a full scholarship. Depending on Jesus' grace alone, I received this breakthrough. I'm going to believe and confess His grace and love for me for the rest of my life!

Isn't it wonderful that when we depend on Jesus' grace alone, doors of opportunity, success and provision open to us? May this testimony encourage you in whatever you are believing God for today!

Our Righteousness

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.  Psalm 23:1

There's almost nothing more tender than the picture of a shepherd lovingly caring for his sheep.

Jeremiah 23:3-4 demonstrates a good shepherd's heart - to gather, protect and feed His sheep, so that they shall "be fruitful and increase." Jesus, our good shepherd, does all this through shepherds (pastors and teachers) He appoints over His people. Their role in representing Him is not be beat (shame) or fleece (financially exploit) the sheep, but to feed them such that they "shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking."

Now, what is this "food" that brings the sheep to the place of no fear, no discouragement and no lack? It is "the Lord our Righteousness." The more you feed on teaching that reveals Jesus and the gift of His righteousness through faith in His finished work, the more you'll experience freedom from fear, depression and lack. So pursue ministries that carry Jesus' heart for His sheep, that boldly proclaim the Lord our Righteousness and that reveal His abundance of grace - and experience His fruitfulness and increase!

Seek First

... If God is for us, who can be against us?   Romans 8:31

To take some time each day to get the revelation of your righteousness in Christ deep into your spirit. Meditate on it and declare it every day. It will put courage in your heart and bring an unshakable peace to your soul. It will energize your faith when you pray and give you a confident expectation to receive good things from your heavenly Father.

I believe that's why our heavenly Father, in knowing the things that we need daily, tells us not to worry about them. What are we supposed to do then? We are to seek first "His righteousness" - the righteousness that He has given us - and all the things that we need will be added to us.

When you know that your right standing with God always puts Him on your side, every fear will melt away like butter on a hot day. For it God is for you, who or what can successfully prevail against you?

A Robust Revelation

Blessings crown the head of the righteous.... Proverbs 10:6

Hope you will reign in all areas of life by receiving a robust revelation of your righteousness in Chris. You grow in this revelation the more you hear about what Jesus has accomplished for you at the cross.

The Bible tells us that blessings crown the head of the righteous. So the larger the revelation of your righteousness in Christ and the more you are established in it, the more you will see God's blessings manifest in your life.

See the robe of righteousness that God has already clothed you with having pockets labeled "favor," "healing," "deliverance," "provision," "wisdom," "family blessings" and so on. The more conscious you are of this robe on you, the more you will experience the good gifts that come with it and live a purposeful and fulfilling life  - a life where you have more than enough to bless others as well!

Delivered

A brother from Australia had been delivered from multiple addictions as he started to hear and receive the revelation of his righteousness in Christ. " I have been set free from 20 years of drug and alcohol abuse, and am free of paranoid thoughts. I couldn't give them up through my own efforts, but through Christ i have. Praise Jesus for His overcoming grace!"

God's provision covers all aspects of life, including deliverance from long-term addictions. When you continually receive God's gifts of abundant grace, righteousness and no condemnation in Chris, you will walk in His power to reign over every addiction or condition holding you captive today!

Don't you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can't you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?    Romans 2:4

When You Stop Struggling

... for God has been very gracious to me. I have more than enough....  Genesis 33:9-11

Most people would have given up on Jacob, the scheming deceiver and manipulator. But not God.

One night, while attempting to appease the brother he had stolen from, Jacob met the Lord. He grabbed hold of the Lord and for hours tried to wrestle a blessing from His. What did the Lord do? He touched Jacob's hip socket and put it out of joint, so that Jacob wound up helpless before the Lord.

The Lord changed Jacob that night. He showed Jacob how it was only when Jacob's grabbing and wrestling finally stopped that His grace was able to flow. That night, God changed Jacob's name from "deceiver" to "prince" (Israel) and added to him blessings that were beyond his own efforts.

You see, we cannot try to wrestle blessings from God. It is when we give up on our scheming, deceiving and manipulating to get ahead in life and completely trust His grace alone that His provision flows unabated.

Speak Out

But the righteousness of faith speaks... Romans 10:6

In Romans 10:6, God's Word tells us that the "righteousness of faith speaks."

now, what does this mean? It means that God encourages us to not just believe in our hearts that we are righteous, but to also speak it out!

So righteous one, declare your righteousness. Every day, boldly say, "Father, I thank You that I am righteous in Christ, not because of what I have done, but because of what Christ has done. It's a gift and I receive it with all my heart."

Believe! When you speak and declare your righteousness, good things happen. You become conscious of all the blessings and all the promises that are due the righteous. Instead of disqualifying yourself, you'll start to believe God for good success, favor and wisdom. Experiencing provision becomes effortless because you know your right standing in Christ. So stop disqualifying yourself and confess your righteousness!

Be The Blessed Man

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.  Psalm 118:8-9

Who wouldn't want to be the blessed man in Jeremiah 17?

In both good and bad times, the blessed man thrives and reigns. He is like a tree planted by the waters, with its roots spread out by the river. When the heat is on  - when the competition heats up or when there is a financial drought - he doesn't fear or worry. His "leaves" remain greed - he stays young and fresh. And he continues to be fruitful - always succeeding and seeing the desired results, whether in his business, career, family life or ministry!

How do you enjoy the blessings of the blessed man? You look not to man but to Jesus alone. Looking to Jesus is to meditate on His Word, His unmerited favor and His gift of righteousness. Begin to truly put your trust and hope in Jesus, instead of in your own strength or other people. Then, get ready to thrive and be bountifully fruitful whether times are good or bad!

Pursue Jesus

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life....  Psalm 23:6

When you follow or pursue Jesus, the good shepherd, His goodness and mercy and all the blessings you need in life will follow after you!

Please do not pursue the blessings. Pursue Jesus, the blesser. As you pursue Him, you don't have to be concerned about the blessings because they will follow after you! In fact, the Hebrew translation of Psalm 23:6 is much stronger and more aggressive. It literally says, "Surely goodness and mercy shall hunt me down all the days of my life!"

With Abundance

You crown the year with Your goodness, and your paths drip with abundance.  Psalm  65:11

Regardless of what experts say about the current economic situation, there is a good news for you. As a child of God, your blessings this year are not dependent on the ebb and flow of the stock market.

you can expect good things to happen to you this year because God's Word declares it: "You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance"!

The key to experiencing the blessings lies in Psalm 65:11 itself  - "Your paths drip with abundance." In order to see His paths dripping with abundance, you would need to follow Him, wouldn't you? So to experience the Lord's goodness and abundance this year, keep listening to and beholding His grace and finished work. It's easy to follow His leading when you are turned to His grace. And when you tread where He treads, you will run right into the blessings that He has already prepared for you!

To God's Abundance

... Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance. Incline your ear, and come to Me, Hear, and your soul shall live...   Isaiah  55:2-3

Because the Lord's pathways "drip" or overflow with abundance, following in His footsteps will cause you to walk in that abundance. And to follow Him, all you have to do is listen carefully to Him.

Look at Isaiah 55:2-3: "Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance, listen to the Word of the Lord. If you desire to walk out of lack and walk into divine provision, keep listening to the preaching of the good news of Jesus' finished work. Keep hearing all that He has done for you to inherit all of God's goodness and abundance. Faith will come to deliver you out of chronic illnesses, fears, debt and depression into divine health, wisdom, provision, fruitfulness and joy!
